It's time to be hardcore!

I will praise thee with my whole heart
Psalm 138:1

Nothing worthwhile is ever accomplished
with a half-hearted attitude.
Half-hearted participation in our work
is more dangerous than none.
To be half-hearted is to occupy
space,
or grace,
unprofitably.

O God,
May I be whole,
not divided,
not unprofitable to God and man!
Let me live and serve with my whole heart.

FRIG!

Frig... now there's a word from the 80's. Anyway... yesterday I was amusing myself by taking some digital pic's of my bunny.... when suddenly I realized I had taken the best picture of probably... my life! Then I accidentally delete it! I started thumping MY foot against the floor I was so angry! How could I?! Of course I tried to capture the shot again... and of course it didn't happen. And of course my camera doesn't store deleted pictures so I'm screwed.

YogoMagic

Hello all! I recently saw a Yogomagic at Value Village and it reminded me of the identical model that my mom has from way back when. They are old yogurt makers from the 60's, when yogurt was first invented. Anyway - I got my mom's from her instead of payin g $2.99 at Value Village (although it would have been worth it!) and then grabbed the directions out of the one at Value Village. Well, the directions were in french so I tried looking it up on the net but nothing came up. So I decided to post the directions here on my blog incase anyone else ever needs some yogomagic instructions! (My husband translated the french for me)

It's simple! Just warm up 1 litre (4 cups) of milk on the stove or microwave until it is almost too hot to put your finger in. Put the milk in the container & then add 3 tbsp. of store bought yogurt to the milk and mix it around. Make sure the yogurt has "active bacterial culture" in it. Then simply put the container in the warmer and wait 6 hours and you have 4 cups of yogurt made from 3 tbsp.'s! It's like magic! ;o) You can also use powdered milk instead of regular milk by just mixing the appropriate amount of powder to water, although I tried this and the yogurt came out with a grainy texture. This is only my second batch that I am making now & I used regular milk, so we'll see how it turns out! If you like yogurt & you see a yogomagic - you should get it! It's a blast from the past!

LOVA!!!

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

You can't be an animal lover if you eat them.

I love being a vegetarian. Although I do admit that sometimes when I smell hamburgers on the grill my tastebuds do salivate. However, for the most part I don't miss meat in my life at all. Probably because I was never a big fan of meat... at least not red meat. The only meat I ever really did eat was chicken... and yes (okay, it's my confession!) I do still eat that every now and then when I go out for chinese food.

I have been a vegetarian for about 6 months now. I tried it before, but didn't stick at it. The breaking point? I went to browse P.E.T.A.'s website and watched their video's on how factory farms operate. I highly recommend it. Here's the link: http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/Prefs.asp?video=meet_your_meat

And tell me, how can you continue eating these animals after viewing that? I would love your comments after you watch the video. To watch other video's, go to http://www.petatv.com
